(This is about to be a ridiculous comment, and hopefully vague enough so that you know what I'm talking about but other people do not. Just, so you're warned.)
So I've never seen SPN although I know a bit about it, but lassiterfics recced this to me because she's awesome like that and I was AMAZED like you would not believe because OMFG Homer! And being faithful to people who are NOT THERE, and the awesomeness of translations, and you write beautifully and basically I was just blown away. But I wasn't going to comment because, well, I am not in the fandom! And we don't know each other!
BUT THEN. THEN. Then I was talking to Lass and she was like "Watch SPN!" and I was like "Okay, sure. I mean, people tell me to all the time! Like there was this girl in my house at school and she was like, You should watch it! But I refused because after she got me addicted to Firefly I couldn't trust her!" (Do you see where this is going yet?) And she was like "Wait there is an SPN fan in your house!? Is it the same one zempasuchil told me about?!" and I was like "Wait what?" So then I talked to Z and I was like "Wait what?" and she was like "Yeah she wrote this Odyssey thing" and I was like WAIT WHAT, and then she was like "Actually apparently you talked about this just before you left and she swore you to secrecy???" And then I was sort of flabbergasted for a while. Fandom: everywhere you don't expect to see it!
So...yeah. In conclusion, A+ on the fic, and also I'm going to be watching SPN this summer and this is at least partly your fault. Do I watch the whole thing or skip around? How are things in our house without me? And are you living near me next year?
