Lolol, no, it is fine! Since I don't write incest and can mostly pass my Narnia fic off as commentary ("Really I am protesting the limited nature of the books!"), I am less worried about people finding out, and also apparently I have no shame...?
Yeah! The Wincest is all Lass's fault really--I finally broke down and asked for fic recs (if the fic is good canon is bound to be good, right?), and yours was one. She was like, "It is incest! BUT ALSO THE ODYSSEY." And since there is incest all over the Narnia fandom, I was like, "Well, if I can deal with it in my childhood then it is no problem at all!" and I skimmed the sexytimes, as you do. So I am okay with all your dark secrets! Also loling at you being worried, because it's not that bad!
alskd you have no idea how awesome that conversation would have gone! I am full of wonder at this fic, actually, I think it is a brilliant retelling of the Odyssey and a really good response to it, and it makes me think of what one of my profs said once, that the Odyssey is one of those stories you never really read for the first time because you've sort of absorbed it, but at the same time every time you read it is like discovering it for the first time, because it is not the way "everyone" knows it goes.
Greece is great but I miss you guys a lot, and there are no chocolate chips anywhere to be found! I don't understand at all! (But it's okay, there are bakeries everywhere and ruins everywhere and the National Museum is where I would want to live if I could.) Basically I am having the time of my life.
