Because I'm in LA, three interviews with three male actors: RPattz, the Zefron, and the man himself- George fucking Clooney. Two are from GQ and one's from Esquire, and yes, I really do read them for the articles.

Article written by the remarkable AJ Jacobs, who wrote the (highly reccomended) book The Year of Living Biblically and whose Esquire articles I always enjoy.

"He reads the gossip blogs and the Twilight fan fiction (“It’s surprisingly hard-core. And very well written”). He knows what the fake Robert Pattinson said on the fake Robert Pattinson Facebook page. (The fake Robert Pattinson claimed to have nailed Kristen Stewart. The fake Robert Pattinson was kind of like Chuck Bass, if Chuck Bass were uncouth enough to trumpet his conquests on somebody’s Wall.)" This is hilarious, but also kind of weirdly heartbreaking. I just want to hug the guy, if I didn't think it would traumatize him.

Both the GQ dates might be wrong, because apparently GQ does not believe in providing a date for its articles. I dated them off of when I'd posted them in my delicious account.

but really I'm not! I just saw your tag; 'george fucking clooney' and just couldn't NOT click it because; It's GEORGE FUCKING CLOONEY! and GUH! I haven't even made it through the link yet and I'm already giggling like a little girl like always when it's Mr Clooney.

Isn't it a great article? :D! I luff him so much. Swear to God, it is one of the great tragedies of my life that I haven't had more occasion to use that tag. *dramatic sigh*

I still haven't read it all - have an 11-months-old who is a SERIOUS block towards computertime during the day. but yeah what I've read so far... I love how he points the way wowards the angry fans. Oh bless you Mr Clooney and your epic awesomeness!

Hmm. You make a good point. And yet, I wouldn't want to mislead someone into thinking a post was about George Clooney when, in reality, it was about, oh, Chad Michael Murray and sparkly unicorns, you know?

Good point... I mean to think that you're getting GC and then end up with Something-Michael Murray would be breaking like 25 international laws. Though sparkly unicorns... that would be kinda awesome...And really if angels are real who's to say that Dean wasn't wrong about unicorns too... (Oh hi 'off topic' nice to see you! come here often?)

Kinda almost related... I once wrote the editor of this encycolpedia that I've got to let him know that there's a flaw in the entry about GC. Actually got a very nice reply back from them letting me know that it would hopefully get corrected in the next edition. And no it doesn't make me a sad loser geek that one of the first thing i looked up was GC! It just means I used my GeekGirlPowers for good!

Ok have now made it through the Clooney article and I'm smiling like a loon and now I just want to sit down and watch GC movies all night when the spawn has gone to bed.

GC marathon sounds fierce. Ocean's, O Brother Where Art Thou, Lady Killers...mmm. Clooney.

GC marathon is like what makes the world go round from time to time. I ended up with 'Out Of Sight' a couple of old eps of ER and took another crack at Solaris... I'm with Lorelai Gilmore on that one... There HAS to be a story in there! LOL (or at the very least one of these days I will figure out if it's a happy or sad ending!)
