Then we finally became friends, and I was right. You have excellent taste. So I love you for that.
Of course, now that I know you better, I love you for so much more than that. I love you for your sense of humor and that make me laugh. I love you for how thoughtful and intelligent you are. I love you for your love of football, which I don't understand but which makes me smile. I love you for how serious and organized and kind you are. On the flipside, I love how batshit crazy you are. I love that I trust you, which is an odd thing to say to someone I've never actually met, but I feel like if I told you a secret you would keep, and if I asked you to do something you would do it.

You're so generous and thoughtful; you go out of your way to do things for your friends- you wrote me the Christmas fic, you let me talk to you when I was depressed, you didn't want me to beta because you were worried about my time. I remember when I was but a wee!coyote and brand new to lj, and you (back when you were miss_meimei) commented on a couple of my fic. And you had a Parker icon! So I stalked you back to your lj (naturally) and saw that you were awesome and really wanted to friend you but was too shy to!
We eventually became friends anyway, only you'd changed your name and I didn't realize you were also miss_meimei. Then I realized who you were and got so excited because you were that awesome person I'd wanted to friend, and here you were, being awesome on my flist. Because our friendship was FATED.
But that's just a story. That's not why I love you.
I love you because you're sweet and fun and we have the same brain and awesome red heels. Your enthusiasm for things is infectious. And I love that you're a complete goofball, and I can just be silly and spastic and flaily with you. I love you because of how joyful you are. Even when you're down, you still have a sense of humor and can see the bright side of things. I love you because you make me happy.
