Supernatural 5.09 Episode Reaction

EVERYTHING. I LOVED EVERYTHING, DAMMIT.

Possibly I will be more coherent later. But I think this is the only episode where I have actually full on screamed with glee. (Can you guess which part? IT WAS THE PART WITH THE GAY. AND HOW WINCEST WAS COMPLETELY VALIDATED BY CANON). And you know, it is kind of incredibly flattering that Kripke thinks a) wincest fangirls are the best, most passionate ones and b) that he apparently ships himself with fandom, Chuck/Becky were too cute.

I love that show managed to poke fun at the fans and itself, and managed to do so in a loving, intelligent, sparkly way. <3

Kripke, my soul, you can has it. In you, I will not doubt.

I know right? I wasn't dreading this episode as much as other people on my flist were, but I was skeptical.

And I had absolutely no reason to be so. It was fantastic. <3's

OH GOD. The LARPers lowering their voices was the best thing ever. And I think it really showed that Show was making fun of itself as much as it was teasing us.

Kripke's awesome. We're awesome. It just works, you know?

Yeah! Also loved how the "Sam and Dean" remade the scenes from Asylum and Hunted. *g*
It just shows how this show would be nothing without all the great aspects it has from actors to directors and everything.

Totally. Kripke and fandom are a perfect match.
