I made the Dean's List! :D

Of course, getting the letter this morning meant my parents wanted to see my grades, so, I, uh finally looked up my grades from last quarter! And I'm kind of shocked, guys. I should not have done that well during a quarter where I spent an entire month depressed, broke down on one of my professors, and turned in a paper three weeks late. (None of these things having to do with school-related stress, just a general feeling of omg why is everything in the world awful, particularly me? ;_; )

Still. There is room for improvement. This was a lazy year. So! Next year:

1) Get even better grades
2) Get involved in more student activities
3) Get a job
4) Learn how to operate without sleep.

Oh, and Duke University wants a sample of my DNA. Cool beans. 

(And now my parents are proud of me. OMGYAY EXTERNAL VALIDATION FROM FIGURES OF AUTHORITY.)

(I might take you up on that offer! But it wasn't school- I was enjoying my classes except for my dislike of my sosc professor and hatred of everyone in my human rights class. I was just SAD all the time. Also, are you still taking the Sacred and the Secular, etc, etc? Because I think I am.)

It wasn't school so much for me either. It just affected how I felt about school. Classes were fine, I just couldn't do anything. *hugs*

Clearly we should start a support group where we get together for hugs, tea, and Supernatural. Because as bad as our lives get, they're still not as bad as Sam and Dean's. *hugs back*

YES. The authors list is so exciting. And, if I decide to be a religious major, it will count towards that.

I am sooooo in favor of this! SPN is good for me during the school year. It is distracting and entertaining and kathartic. that plus tea, which is relaxing, and social company, which is relaxing and entertaining and love - perfect study break support group.
