Virtually stalking is totally fine with me. ;D And I'm learning East Coast Swing. This was actually only my third lesson. :X But I'm really enjoying it. What style do you dance?
I do Modern Jive, but I'd really like to try a mash of other styles. My university's swing group teaches Lindy Hop. I'd like to learn hip hop too, though that's not ballroom at all. (Basically, I just want to dance my face off.)
I'm actually thinking of trying Lindy Hop after my current lessons end. It's just so much fun!

I've been doing swing on and off since January this year and in a more committed manner since May. Just starting to get into the intermediate stuff. How about you? What style are you doing?
I figure I will look awkward, but enthusiastic, while on the hip hop dance floor, which is really all I'm going for. The city actually had an all night contemporary art thing a few weeks ago and the reference branch of the local library had dance lessons going all night. I stopped in for Hip Hop and it was AMAZING. There should be more library dancing.

Ahaha! That's awesome. I don't think I have the ability to actually hip hop dance. But it might be neat to try.

And I agree. There should be more library dancing. There should really be more dancing in general, even if I myself am "awkward, but enthusiastic." ;)
