 Damon, I hate you. You are awful and evil and irredeemable. I don't find you sympathetic or interesting or tragic. Your ~pain does not give you the right to kill people. It does not make killing people excusable. So your girlfriend broke up with you 150 years ago and now her look-a-like is in love with your non-sociopathic brother. Get over yourself, you miserable piece of shit. And even though ~you want to be a human again, you kind of sucked as a human too.
