*muses* I think I hate his character so much because for the first time since I've participated in fandom (started at thirteen, lol) I have found a character with literally no redeeming value (I can't even say "imo" BECAUSE IT'S JUST FACT)...other than to CONTINUOUSLY SHOW ME the hypocrisy of the fandom and everyone involved in creating the show which is just so depressing :S So I both loathe him as someone who loves Sam (because wtf it's basically a WHITE MALE version of Ruby only MORE OBNOXIOUS and infinitely more POINTLESS why does he get to stay?? WHY and why the fuck does Dean interact with him.) and as someone who thinks, damn, fandom, you can do so much better than this pastyass boring doormat personalityless hypocritical piece of shit character. Ahem.

*clutches face* You are perfect. HOW SO PERFECT? This is basically how I feel about Castiel 100% AND I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME UNDERSTAND HOW ANYONE THINKS DIFFERENTLY. He's awful! So awful. And not only is he a shitty, bland, pointless character, but he highlights EVERYTHING BAD about the writers - their hypocrisy, their inability to write characters consistently, their love of anyone white with a dick attached, how horribly they kiss fandom's ass to the detriment of the show FFFFFFFFFFFFF SMH

why couldn't they have kept uriel instead :S
