ngl it was scary, but they've done it before - and it was scarier before. Scarier when it was Croatoan and them shouting IT'S NOT IN ME, scarier when it was shifters and what you thought was Dean wasn't ACTUALLY Dean, - and not just scarier, but with WAY more exciting emotional development and payoff as a DIRECT RESULT of the device! Bad job, show. Bad job :/

Yes! Yes exactly. I found Croatoan and shifters much scarier, and the possession high school episode much more interesting "Did they do it?" kind of thing. This was not very scary and really redundant, and I don't see what having a new monster that does this same thing is going to do...this is how I feel about most of this season's monsters though. Okay, we *have* shifters, so...you're...worried about worse shifters? Why should I care?
