So, I haven't seen the episode yet. (And weirdly, it seems like familiardevil and I are accidentally trading off when it comes to episodes lately. She didn't watch My Bloody Valentine. I didn't catch Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. She missed Dark Side of the Moon. And I was drawing naked women on a friend instead of watching 99 Problems.)

However, I've been skimming reactions, and it seems to me...

...that season four was the season when a lot of people were pissed at Sam. And now season 5 is when a lot of people are pissed at Dean. I don't know what that means. But I think it's important. Next week, I predict, will be Dean's "When the Levee Breaks." I also don't think any of this means Dean loves Sam any less, just like I don't think Sam loved Dean any less all through last season. They both have the right to screw up and be confused and eventually the other one will bang on the door and shout his brother's name, and that'll be the only sound they'll hear.

But really. Seriously. Lisa? Lisa? No one, and I mean no one, ships Dean/Lisa. And I still don't think Ben is Dean's son.

In conclusion: RUM.

LOL Re Dean/Lisa as someone was saying bendy sex weekend =! true wuv. But then there's the kid involved and that added a haphazard connection to the deadbeat dad issues that keep popping up. I think regardless of how they denied Ben being his kid, they'll probably retcon it for maximum angstage.

It still came out of nowhere is badly done, but at least its a somewhat logical endpoint, I guess.

Good point about Dean, that makes me feel a little better. I like thinking that they might be pursuing a more even depiction of both of them. It was awfully one-sided with Sam for a while.
