Right! Chickens totally are animals. :D

LMAO! I don't know who I feel more sorry- the girl or the waiter who's just had his entire world rocked.

But traveling as a vegetarian is a bitch. When we stopped at CD's relative's place during the Grand Canyon trip, she made us chicken stew and I just sat and stared at it and tried to pick around the chicken because I didn't want to be ~difficult.

The pin that the power jack plugs into snapped off. : / I would be very surprised if it were fixable, but I'm having someone look at it tomorrow, so we'll see.

It meant a very exciting trip, that was for sure.

Oh no! That's the worst, because for whatever reason you don't get the same consideration as religious food problems. :/

...I...how, exactly? Like did it just pop off?

Yeah, it's been loose for awhile. It stopped working during finals of winter quarter because it was loose, but I had a friend of a friend solder it back. Then it started getting loose again, so the friend of a friend glued it into place, and I started keeping my laptop on my desk because I figured moving it would be bad.

And then, literally, at the end of tenth week, I noticed that it was really loose again, so I went to jiggle it back in place, and instead, the pin just came out still attached to the jack.

*weeps*

Oh, when do you want to talk about your Narnia fic?

Ugh, that sucks. :(

Uuum, soon I think! I have one fic that has to get edited (hahahaha, edits), but then after that can I email you? or lj comment at you or something?

That works! :D And e-mail/pm/comment are all great. I'm headed to LA in a few days, but I'll have internet access when there, just not while traveling.

Brilliant! And no rush, either--it's summer, I can afford to slack off with fic. :)
